The price of a renovation in Marbella depends first on its scope. A refresh — paint, flooring, minor repairs — usually falls between €150 and €300 per m². A partial renovation, with a new kitchen and bathroom, rises to €500–950 per m². A full renovation involving new layouts, wiring and plumbing often exceeds €1,200 per m², and can reach €3,000 per m² with high-end finishes.
The second factor is the level of finish. For the same surface and the same works, entry-level tiling and bespoke natural stone can double the bill. The calculator above covers three levels — essential, refined and premium — so you get a realistic range rather than one misleading figure.
These figures reflect 2026 prices charged by Costa del Sol contractors, excluding architect's fees and furniture. They are an order of magnitude: only a visit to the property allows a firm quote.
